Which One Will You Skate Away On?

Spring is here!

I checked my paycheck today, and clearly the Tea Parties worked. I couldn't find that massive Obama tax increase anywhere.

If you're having a bad day, this site will make you feel better. There's nothing like reading about the misfortune of others. Schadenfreude, you say? Man, those Germans have a word for everything. (c. Homer Simpson.)

If you're looking for the funny, look no further than Teknikal Diffikulties. Spelling aside, this is simply exquisite. Cayenne Chris Conroy manages to put together weekly old-time radio style comedy shows by himself. He writes, performs and produces the whole thing. His is a dry wit, and nerdy as hell, but it's funny. Go back and check out "The Account," a serial show about a journey through what he calls "The Waking World," a world where the familiar is mixed in with the fantastic. I'm still slogging through the extensive archives, and loving every minute of it. Hell, even the guy's updates are entertaining.

Michigan mayor demands ticket. The guy got a warning for 45 in a 40 MPH zone. He demanded a ticket to avoid favoritism. That's pretty cool. If I were him, I'd take it to court just for the irony.

Finally, there's "Pride and Prejudice and Zombies." I was going to just try and ignore this, but someone just wouldn't let me. Seriously, I know nothing about literature, so I can't even fake my way through a joke here. Zombies are bad. That is all.

Your Lost For Words leader.

Who needs teaparties when you got friends in the Vice Lords to make up for tax increases, right Stool?

Wow, swiftee, are you afraid to post under your own name now?

Shakin' like a leaf, stool; shakin' like a leaf. You boys run in circles I'd rather stay anonymous with.

You can call me "T" if you want!

Come one, swiftee, you're a tough guy, ain't ya?

By the way, I hear you ride a motorcycle. You would seem to run with some interesting circles yourself.

Bikers don't go into business with street gangs, Stool.

They don't shoot unarmed kids (5 times in the back, stool?..damn), and they don't give or take hero medals to each other to make themselves feel more like men.

I'm not afraid of anything physical your buddies might do stool, I just don't want my reputation sullied by association!

Oh, BTW. You might not have noticed, but there are lots of your collegues that have admired M\C's from afar, and think that sewing a rag on their backs makes them bikers' equals.

DiscordianStooge said...

Nope, bikers form their own criminal enterprises.

For a guy who hates the mainstream media and trial lawyers, you seem to take the STrib and a plaintiff's attorney on their word when it comes to cops ... even when they don't actually give any evidence for corruption.

I hope you never have to shoot someone with that piece you're so proud of.

T said...

I hope not too, stool...but if I ever do, I 100% guarantee it won't be in the back, sport.

Not even once...(five times, I just can't get past that one).

I wouldn't really want hero medal, either.

Read this study, swiftee. You can read the whole thing, but the relevant part starts down at number 8.

How fast do you get off 5 shots at someone who pointed a gun at you?

T said...

The article was very interesting reading, stool.

But it doesn't have anything to do with an unarmed kid getting mowed down. And all of the evidence that has been made public, as well as the subsequent actions of the PD don't leave much room for any other explaination.

And why has the confused cop that can't tell the difference between a relatively rare (and crappy) Russian auto and a fairly common (and much finer) FN suddenly lawyered up and now refuses to give an affidavit to the city under oath?

This stinks worse than a DFL feminist convention, stool. And I won't insult you by suggesting that you don't know it.

You're welcome.

DiscordianStooge said...

Are you saying that getting a lawyer means one is guilty?

I'm not defending a specific case, but the idea that any time someone is shot in the back the cop is a murderer, which is what you implied.

I'm waiting for someone to make a decision on the case you're talking about. I quit reading about it when it was suggested that cops can just take guns out of evidence and carry them around until they decide to murder people.

I'm hoping for an external investigation. I certainly don't accept arguments from people looking for lots of money from a city that loves to give it out.

WTF?? That is complete, bullshit. I am referring to the case at issue and you...oh, wait.

(forehead smack)

That was my fault. Expecting the truth...what the heck was *I* thinking?

"I quit reading about it when it was suggested that cops can just take guns out of evidence and carry them around until they decide to murder people."

Yeah, 'cause, like, *that* has never happened.

DiscordianStooge said...

swiftee, I didn't say it never happened. I said it's not normal, which is what is being said by cop haters like you.

Ah yes, truth, from the guy who said that there are no motorcycle gangs.

I'm not defending the officer, because I'm not following the case. He could be in the wrong. I addressed the assertion that someone being shot in the back always means the shooter was in the wrong.

And hey, did you decide that the uncorroborated word of a drug kingpin facing 20 years following a 3 month investigation that turned up nothing isn't enough to call me a friend of Vice Lords yet?
